SpeechREC app for iPhone and iPad

Malaspina Labs develops advanced algorithms in the fields of speech processing targeted for portable devices. Active research projects include real-time model-based synthetic reconstruction of human speech, real-time discrimination of speech-of-interest from competing background speech, and the efficient encoding and transmission of speech for narrowband digital communication.

The Speech Sampler App allows Malaspina Labs to gather a large database of voice recorded in-situ by from iPhones and iPads. The speech data is used for research analysis, and application development, testing and verification. The data is used internally and is not copied or shared with anyone.
